BIOGRAPHY

Singer-Songwriter Karina Lehman is a rising star in the music industry, captivating audiences with her unique blend of smooth vocal loops, harmonies, Afro Latin rhythms, and electronic beats. Her music, known as folk-pop, is a refreshing fusion of genres that leaves a lasting impression on all who hear it. 

Drawing inspiration from a diverse range of artists, including Natalia Lafourcade, Violeta Parra, Perota Chingo, Lido Pimienta, Bjork, and Marissa Monte, Karina has created a sound that is truly her own. 

In April 2020, Karina debuted her solo project with the release of "Son de la Luna Dormida." Since then, she has continued to experiment with different Afro Latin genres, releasing original songs like "Contigo," "Sunset Dreams," "Vagabundeando," "Winter," "Oh Eah," and "No seas Malo." 

Karina has been a prominent figure in the Melbourne music scene since 2014, regularly performing and captivating audiences with her soulful voice and captivating stage presence. She founded several original musical projects, including Terrasur (2014), where she played for four years and recorded an EP, and Los Lopez (2019), a traditional Mexican folk band. 

In 2020, Karina was recognized for her talents and awarded a prize in the Australian Campus Music Competition. Beat magazine has described her sound as exciting, refreshing, and undeniably unique. 

Currently, Karina is in the studio recording new music for her upcoming EP, which is set to be released in the second semester of 2023. Stay tuned for more updates from this rising star in the world of music.
